Wildlife common to this area are White-Tailed Deer, Rio Grande Turkey, and Feral Hogs. The pond on the property can also attract plenty of birds providing the added benefit of wing-shooting. Bobwhite Quail and Blue Quail can also be found on this property and in the surrounding area.
Water is provided by a water well located at the camp area. The water well is approximately 580 deep with a new pump set at an optimal level for maximizing water flow. A water line has been ran 1500 to the pond on the West side of the ranch from the water well providing for a constant water supply to the pond. This area of South Texas can sometimes become dry and having a constant water supply for wildlife can be crucial and very rewarding. The dry weather pond had water in it July of 2020.

The native habitat on this ranch is ideal for White-Tailed Deer. Most of the brush on the ranch is high protein brush consisting of Blackbrush, Granjeno, and Persimmon with large bull Mesquites Scattered around. The habitat overall is extremely heavy over most of the ranch.
